The EF 35mm f/1.4 L USM is a moderately wide lens for Canon EOS Cameras. This full frame professional grade lens is one of the Canon’s very best choices in the 35mm focal length. It features an aspherical element to minimize aberrations and distortion and a floating lens element system for excellent image quality throughout the entire focusing range.

I bought mine in 2007, for a lot more than they are now, and I’m always surprised how good my photos come out with this lens. Obviously, it’s not a low light lens but in decent lighting what I love about the lens is the beautiful contrast it has, my photos pop when I use it, and it gives both full frame and crop sensor cameras a useful and interesting variety of focal lengths. I’ve had this lens for 10 years and I hope to have it for 10 more! For the money it’s a definite 5 stars.
